Education is one of the most powerful tools in helping a community rise above challenging circumstances. Due to poverty, and a lack of educational facilities, rural communities in Kenya have high illiteracy rates. Imbako will offer English, Swahili and basic lessons in arts and entrepreneurship to community members.

In order to educate the youth on IT skills, and bridge the technological gap between urban and rural Kenyan communities, Imbako has instituted the Plant-a-Tree for your school/home initiative. For every certain number of tress planted by youth in local schools, respective schools are eligible to receive a computer and IT training.
